Welcome to the website of a literary incorrect writer!
For me, the world of fiction is a world of dreams. It shares the heartaches and joys of being human. For me, a beautiful poem or good work of fiction touches us inside in some mysterious way. And we cannot explain it in words. Words will somehow express the inexpressible.
These poems and tales contain samplings from various philosophies, religions, scientific theories, art , literature, and music. They reflect the paradoxes of Existence; the meeting of East and West, the eternal dance of yin and yang. They do not represent any pure religious system nor any conventional philosophy of life. Hopefully something here will express the inexpressable for you.
In all honesty, some stories here I do not understand. They floated to me on the wind, the ether, upon the sound of running water, some music, a language I do not understand, and even birds singing. Things like that. I often go back into Aha! Stories to read what I have written, and have my own Aha! and maybe not! I have chosen to write most of the stories from my own Intuition. Often I will find a book online or in a bookstore, which seems to explain what I have already said. Those books are listed at the end of my stories. Stories and poems are dreams; they are not Truth. A good poem or story may magically touch upon "something" which resonates within us. Something we recognize as already understood. Perhaps that something is real, or truth.
What is Truth, anyway? Does anyone really know? What is “true” often seems to depend on each individual’s experience and belief system. It has been told to us by others. Truth seems to be a relative thing. Scary thought, as it seems We All Think We Are Right! I have heard this referred to as Conventional Reality (persons, forms, etc.) Yet, I have also heard of another kind of Truth, called "Absolute Truth (emptinness)." Through deductive reasoning, if conventional truth comes from others, then ultimate truth must come from our own experience. It must be found inside ourselves.
For me, Space, the Final Frontier refers to an Inside,inner space which feels to connect me with what I would describe as All That Is. It has nothing to do with NASA and the Space Programs. Perhaps these stories lightly touch upon some "space" beyond all the stories in our lives. Hopefully something I have written resonates with you!
This website is an excellent example of Spiritual Autolysis, which I have chosen to call "Journaling on the Path to Enlightenment," which for me, means finding my own personal Inner Truth. After filling 35-40 notebooks of journaling, writing songs, poems and stories, over a 4-year period, I read Jed Mckenna's books. Spritual Autolysis is a process explained by Jed McKenna, author of Spiritual Enlightenment: The Damnedest Thing (2002) and Spiritually Incorrect Enlightenment (2004). He states: I introduced the process of Spiritual Autolysis, which is really nothing more than a kind of journaling on steroids designed to help us burn through the seemingly endless layers of ego and delusion in the quickest and least painful manner. Try to write something true and keep at it until you do; that's the match that becomes the blaze.
