HEARTBEAT OF A DEER: A New Man, A New Year (Dedicated to Osho) 1.1.05
Toward the end of night she awoke, turned on the light there was a silence all around no one spoke then tiny raindrops touched the ground tap dancing soon became a symphony of harmony
Round about Dawn the fawn of gentle morning appeared without warning, it neared innocent eyes gazing through the trees in a soft gray mist of a whispering breeze
The brewing smell of coffee and her sleeping self took off...he had met her in some Dream afraid to meet upon the day it seemed Best to meet this way
Took her in his arms in secret their charms awoke A Majesty beyond worldly affairs it was an Epiphany, an Emptiness they sought
Completion meant Enlightenment, she thought not sure, maybe true, maybe not what to do?
The Fireworks of New Year's Eve blasting in their ears no fears, no tears they were Gone

Halleluia is the name of this Game Waves of truth caress the shore, seeking Ever More
Her feet stood still upon the shore wave upon wave seeking Ever More the sun shone upon her head We Love You they said each wave was new, the sky turned blue
Foam and sea washed away all memory timeless caress I Love You they said who knew?
She turned around, then with a bound the fawn of morning leapt into the air she didn't care

it grew before here eyes to twice its former size
The sun shone down, all around by noon a full grown deer stood near its eyes were round, a glistening brown and then she knew through and through this was her deer, her Dear then she watched it disappear
slipped silently into the trees
Falling to her knees her feet still wet with seafoam she found herself again alone yet in her heart she knew just what to do she had come full circle the deer and she had never parted company their hearts now beat as one
As Dusk approached she gently spoke whispering, to distant stars glistening she knew they were listening a Prayer for Peace and Harmony
One teardrop slid down each cheek she thought perhaps next week each tear would blossom, bloom she was watering the Seeds of Newmanity for a Garden called Ecstacy
Heartbeat of a Deer it was a New Year
In Moonlight softly standing on the shore she looked upon the sea moonlight and stars were dancing on the sparkling glints of glancing she was wondering dreaming of Ever More

What if This turned out to be The Other Side? The Other Shore? wondering even more she quickly saw this was quite funny
she smiled, she danced she felt entranced
Maybe just like Chuang Tzu her Dreams were Coming True who knew? Who was dreaming who?
Do men dream they are butterflies or do butterflies dream they are men? and then the Deer did reappear
As lightning struck she forgot to duck it was time it was time it really was time for luminous Grace and Luck to meet The Sublime
