Energy Medicine:

Energy Medicine by Donna Eden

Energy medicine is a new field with ancient roots. It builds not only on what is known in Western science and medicine, it also draws heavily from Eastern health practices and disciplines such as acupuncture, yoga, and qi gong. This program will give you as solid an introduction to this exciting new field as we know how to provide in two hours.

Two free papers you may want to download to supplement this program are:

* 1) "A Beginner’s Guide to Energy Medicine," which outlines ways of introducing energy medicine into your life and directs you to many excellent resources, and
* 2) "The Principles of Energy Medicine," which summarizes and organizes many of the concepts touched upon in this program.

Both are available, along with many other free resources, from the Handout Bank of our non-profit Energy Medicine Institute (www.HandoutBank.org).

Edgar Cayce is my favorite prophet.

My favorite Star Trek character is "Q" from "The Q Continuum." Why? Perhaps because he is very enigmatic, tricky, and funny, One Huge trouble-maker wherever he goes. Kind of a "Gone Beyond Guy" I could never truly understand. He rarely shows up. But when he does, everything seems to enter a paradym shift.

Does anyone know what "Q" stands for, anyway? Mighty Quinn? Qutie? Quiet? QitIt?
Quan Yin? Quintessential? Question? Quirk?

For Archaeology fans, there is an article on Q, The Search for Site Q,

as well as Conversations: Site Q Discovered, Maya archaeology's missing city.

Here's a Huge "Q":

Arp 188 and the Tadpole's Tidal Tail

Explanation: In this stunning vista recorded with the Hubble Space Telescope's Advanced Camera for Surveys, distant galaxies form a dramatic backdrop for disrupted spiral galaxy Arp 188, the Tadpole Galaxy. The cosmic tadpole is a mere 420 million light-years distant toward the northern constellation Draco. Its eye-catching tail is about 280 thousand light-years long and features massive, bright blue star clusters. One story goes that a more compact intruder galaxy crossed in front of Arp 188 - from left to right in this view - and was slung around behind the Tadpole by their gravitational attraction. During the close encounter, tidal forces drew out the spiral galaxy's stars, gas, and dust forming the spectacular tail. The intruder galaxy itself, estimated to lie about 300 thousand light-years behind the Tadpole, can be seen through foreground spiral arms at the upper left. Following its terrestrial namesake, the Tadpole Galaxy will likely lose its tail as it grows older, the tail's star clusters forming smaller satellites of the large spiral galaxy.

I'm not totally sure who Q is. See? He even has Picard baffled :

I also enjoy Captain Jean-Luc Picard,

Captain James T. Kirk,

Having some strange attraction to Klingons, I also adore Worf, who is half human, half Klingon.

I love Barclay.

Of the women, I most enjoy Jadzia Dax,

and Guinan.

I use hats, unbrellas, Zen walking sticks, pink feather boas, Hawaiian leis, sometimes pretending to read books, etc. I usually do this looking in the full length mirror feeling love for myself, humanity, planet earth and all beings. It is fun to pretend I'm on stage!

Venerable Ribur Rinpoche was imprisoned and tortured for thirty years by the Communist government in China. To read his biography, click here.

I tremendously enjoy listening to his Dharma Teachings while driving in my car, over and over again. Especially his teachings on Calm Abiding, which I made cassette tapes of for Land of Medicine Buddha last year. VERY special.

If this is of interest to you, Venerable Ribur Rinposhe's teachings on Calm Abiding and Special Insight, entitled "Mastering Meditation" are available at Land of Medicine Buddha
