I have developed my own descriptive chart and daily calendar and give down-to-earth readings in common language, in order to help people understand and accept the unfolding cycles of nature in their lives.
In my view, there is no good or bad astrology. Our solar system moves in perpetual balance, and every astrology chart is exactly as harmonious as any other, just emphasizing different things. The famous negative descriptions of astrological tendencies usually refer to common difficulties one can have with what could be a perfectly fine inclination. I use an astrology reading as a chance to look at how our individual nature, the cycles of energy influence we are going through, and the relationships we encounter can be experienced and reflected in a comfortable and healthy way.
My readings follow the interest of the individual. After an introduction about how it all works, using familiar terms drawn from everyday experience, we look at birth nature, current situation, key junctures past and shifting alignments to come. I invite inquiry and reflection, and encourage post-session follow-up.

I was born September 30, 1952, in Los Angeles, California. I grew up in West Hollywood in the late 60’s. In 1970 I moved up the coast to the small, experimental University of California campus at Santa Cruz, in the redwoods overlooking the Pacific. My academic emphasis was the interrelationship between natural, spiritual, cultural, and political harmony. I graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in Revolutionary Vision. In 1976 I began to explore astrology, creating my own visual materials and imagery to describe it. I’ve been a professional astrologer since 1992.

In the 1980s, Dr. Deepak Vidmar was Associate Professor of Psychology and Gifted Education, President of Louisiana Psychological Association, USA, Chief Psychologist and Director of Programming at Louisiana Special Education Center, and Regional Supervisor of School Psychologists. He was Consultant Psychologist to the Lake Charles Police Department and Office of Vocational Affairs of the Catholic Diocese. Dr. Vidmar was licensed for private practice and gave psychological evaluations to more than three thousand individuals. He has supervised the psychological testing of 3000 more. He has studied the methods of psychology, behavior modification, biofeedback, hypnosis and NLP. He was a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and has qualified in several courts of law as an expert witness in Psychology. His doctoral assertion "Astrological Discrimination between Authentic and Spurious Birth dates" was the first to use double-blind, control-group experimental method to prove astrology is real.
In the 1990s, Deepak was meditation leader, group leader, hypnotherapist and ashram astrologer at Osho Multiversity in Poona, India. Deepak has traveled the world, giving more than two thousand astrology sessions to an international population in India, Europe, Mexico and USA. His monthly horoscope has appeared in Osho Times, Elle (India edition) and Blitz (India's largest weekly) and has been translated into the languages of English, Italian, German and Greek.
